Filming Our Opening Tiles
This was us recording the inside shots of kayleigh washing up. We took various different types of shots at different angles. We noticed in a few of the shots we could see the camera and us recording in the reflection of the window, so we had to record the shots again making sure we culd ot see us in the reflection with the camera.
We had to keep everything the same in the shots so the continuity was the same throughout. However we made a mistake of leaving the microphone in one of the shots, so we had to re-record these shots.
Me ad Joe took it in turns to record kayleigh for the inside shots.
So we could get the microphone near kayleigh to pick up her speaking on the phone clearly, we had to improvise and put the microphone on the end of a stick to get quality sound.

Our Font For Our Title Sequence
Font Analysis
http://www.artofthetitle.com/title/the-evil-dead-trilogy/
The font for the title sequence of this horror film is linked well with the theme of horror. The font is very rough and jagged, asif bits of the letters are missing (as letters are normally blocked letters). This is mysterious and could be represtenting how people can go missing and dissapear, which is scary and unpleasant. The colour used, which is red, is associated with blood and anger, these are negative and create a negative feel for the audience. The font also looks like it has been written in blood which is unusual and makes people think of death/murder.

Props
We used a red balloon for the clown to hold. This was a vital prop in our opening titles as it is used throughout the titles. We used a red balloon oposed to another colour as red represents danger as its the colour of blood blood. Also a balloon is normally associated with partys, happy events and children, completly opposite to what its used for in our opening titles for horror. We was going to put blood in the balloon so when the clown popped the balloon the blood went all over the woman, however we found that this would be to difficult to do so instead we used it without the blood and it looked just as good.
Another of one our main props was a knife. Knives are perceived as a weapon and danger so we used this because of that. However we also used it as a normal household object by having the woman washing up with it, but having a creepy edge to it when she pours the red fairy liquid onto it.

Costumes
![]() |
This is the clown costume we used in our filming. We chose this as the colours are mainly bright, like an ordinary funny clown. However there is also dark parts of the costume, like the black colar round his neck, this gives the costume a mix of the 'horror clown' and the everyday 'normal clown'. Also the mask of the clown is very scary and brings across our theme of horror.
